Good for newbies yes. No most trucks are standards. They use to be all auto but are getting rid of all of them and running standards now. You will get either a freight liner Cascadia. A Peterbilt. Or a international prostar. Those are the only 3 types of trucks we run now. Will most likely be 2011 and newer. Only heard of a couple guys getting anything older than that but its unlikely.

Thanks...cuz I was worried about being in an automatic and just starting then if I leave I won't have the experience of a straight shift!!!
-
Ya chances of getting a auto are very slim. When I got my truck I even told the equipment manager I didn't care if I had to sit there for days I wanted a standard. I just don't like autos. I hate not being in control.

I hear good stuff about them and I'm interested in working for them myself but I've also heard all there new trucks are a little on the small side.
-
Yeah, my first truck with them was a brand new Pete, but it was a midroof.
-
Was it big enough for a solo? I don't plan on teaming

It took some getting used to after always being in a FL Columbia, but I loved that truck.
It has 2 skinny cabinets. I hung up my clothes in one and made shelves for the other. I made a shelf to rest on the molding to hang my TV from.5speed Thanks this. -
Oh OK. If everything goes right I'll be starting there next month.
