Hopefully you're movin' on today & making some $$.

 

I just recently 'reconnected' with a former marten driver who had been there 28 years, and was forced out, because after 28 years of dragging thier very own trailer, even spent out of pocket many years ago, to have Marten painted on the side of the trailer. They called them in, told them to get rid of thier trailer and start pulling company trailers, or your out.
What a way to treat a 28 year vetrean, who know Rodger Marten like a brother.

 

Well if he OWNED his own trailer with MARTEN painted on the sides he was more than just a DRIVER !

and what are you saying, he was more than just a driver?
They had an agreement, they would pull thier own trailer, and had done for all those years.. basically came down to it, mareten wanted to put all the long haul frieght on the rail, even taken it from SR. drivers, a driver who no less was hired by Rodger marten.Just goes to show, randy doesnt care about the drivers his father hired.
