Well I passed the blood pressure retake today! The nurse said I was only going to get a temp card because they aren't going to do sleep studies now until we come back to upgrade to a "B" seat and get our CDL. I guess I have to retake the physical at that time..... Not really sure about this one because sleep apnea isn't on a DOT physical, is it?

 

I understand that it's a company requirement, I was saying since it is and not a DOT requirement and I passed everything required by the DOT, I wonder why I'm still getting a temp medical card. Why not a medical card and then Prime just require me to do a sleep study later, since I passed the DOT requirements?

Second day f class has been pretty slow. Showed up for 7am role call which took an hour for the 79 PSD students in our class. Well over half had to start their physicals and fingerprints and all we had to do was head out and study the manual and be back at 3pm for the second role. I'm pretty comfortable with most everything in the book except their are few question that aren't answered in the book. I'll ask tomorrow in the CDL class. The weather has been pretty awesome up here. I left Alabama and it was high 90s during the day and 90-100% humidity. Near the Campus Inn, is there any good places within walking distance to have a good dinner? Also, does anyone know how long it takes for the shuttle to do a round trip to Walmart?
