Picking up a load of onions in Othello Wa and delivering down in Dallas Monday morning. Will make for a very busy weekend of driving! I'm on the board for Tuesday to go home till after Labor Day.

Right now I'm very frustrated with the truck shop manager/foreman at Poly. I'm glad I can pray & maintain my sanity. Without Jesus to carry this I might be unemployed. Suffice it to say he does not pay attention to detail & almost cost me a great weekend run out to Reno,NV.

Be all that as it may, I had a good 5 days off. My son decided he wanted to move in with his oldest sister & did so first thing Monday morning. Oh well, so much for me helping him get a drivers license & help establish some job possibilities. Afterall, he is 19, has been trained by the Army, & knows everything.

Still, I was able to to take care of some other errands that I stretched over several days to keep me busy.

Guess I better get this trip started. Later.

I know how you feel about the shop. It's really the only negative to this job.

Have a great trip to Reno!

    I
I agree. Already got backhaul for Monday. Pick up in Fernley,NV for delivery in Denver on Wednesday morning. 2700 miles in 5 days; that will help me overcome my frustration. :)

Another frustration reliever: Outbound called me and gave me a load out of GP Monday going to Lowes in North Vernon IN. I will deliver this Wed afternoon and then deadhead home to spend the week with the family. I will have 3200 miles in 6 days when I get home.

Good to see JD and Chemster doing so well, Chemster I hope you are enjoying your time off and JD I would think you are about due for a Prostar.

Derrick is here. He said he reads but doesn't post.
As for me getting a ProStar, we have to get some more in first.
