Landstar Inway Arrogant

    First of all he would not reveale his name when I called on this load, secondly arrogance was dripping from his face when he answewd "Look man , its 10K lb and it pays $1000. Its a load from Kathleen GA to York PA. Market rate for this load calls for about $2000. My two cents if Landstar wants to keep this kind of people around then they should change their name to trashstar.

    On the other hand I had my first experience with a Landstar agent today and she was very pleasant. I was trying to get a load that picked up tonight but it delivered tomorrow morning...550mi for $1,600. She was having trouble covering it because most FB drivers don't work those hours unless they are a team. She tried every which way to get me the load but the customer wouldn't budge on an AM delivery (I said the latest I would deliver was 1400). But anyway she was quite nice.

    I have had always had good dealings with Landstar. They have a lot of agents, and I'm sure there are some problem people.

    one thing you got to understand every living organism has to have a rectum , and by the same token every organization has to have a rectum. you just met theirs. my organization has one too. they grow oranges there

    here is another one of them, she says $1150 to Jersey city from Charlotte NC market, what a joke these people are.

    If you invested as much time building RELATIONSHIPS with PEOPLE as you do ######## about LS you would not have to worry about low paying freight. NETWORK. Leave the low pay scraps for TMC and the like. I have been doing this since '92 and only look at a loadboard maybe 2 or 3 times a year. The rest of the time I am running steady with freight from people I know and trust; and they know and trust me.
