    Hey Everybody,

THANK YOU for all your relevant information on Schneider... Started reading at about page 400...

Got my "Phoner" set up with Edwardsville for Monday. I'm taking my "written" Monday morning. Already applied for both TWIC and Passport...

About a month at MTC in Hazelwood, and I'll be up in Wisconsin for my "on-boarding"...

From what I can tell, I can't wait to get out with SNI... Was local a few "lifetimes" ago, and want to get back OTR...

Question.... Can I stay out as long as I want to? I'd rather "sell the house" and "live the dream" at this point in my life....

Thanks in advance for all your insight, and I truly look forward to being a member of your "team"!

    Absolutely.

Enjoy Green Bay. I went through orientation there, and it was just fine.

GOALing is never a defeat. Backing into a spot in the N. Little Rock Pilot on Thursday I KNEW I was good, but GOALed and was sniggered at by God's Gift To Trucking for not being able to tell I was perfectly lined up to go in. The next day I delievered to a very tight dock, I must have gotten out a dozen times before I got it in the hole. But I didn't make a gift of my paint to the plant or steal any of theirs. Plus its good exercise, I'm starting to jiggle a little.

So my next load has a ready time of 1100 tomorrow (only load going the way I need to go). I got to the TS down the road about 1400 today. Around 1700 I sent a msg to support shift asking if the load might be ready early. This is the way I've always asked about going in early and how I'm in the 10% of the Green Bay division that has an eta accuracy of greater than 50% (by the way guys, we're sucking it on our etas; I thought I was way better than 50% but I just made the cut). I got a message back from support shift telling me I should set my eta to the time I'd like to make pickup. CS would then be contacted and if I'm okay to go in early than my eta would stand (no news is good news). If the load won't be ready then I would get a message telling me so.

Is this actually what we're supposed to be doing or not? It seems to me that this way of asking to go in early is opposite of what we're being asked to do with our etas.

You have to ask you shouldn't be driving a truck.

I disagree in the sense that it's good to know your rights and the rules relating to a program that is designed to catch drug users and end careers. It is possible to get a false positive, however unlikely, say if you injest poppy seeds for example and you get drug tested. Stranger things have happened. You get that on your DAC and say goodbye to your career for at least 5 years, and possibly longer. I'd say it's pretty important to at least understand your rights and the whole process.

Well delivered to Pensacola early by an hour. Got my next assignment as I rolled in the gate.

80 miles to PU in Grand Bay, AL. Then 710 miles to Fort Lauderdale, FL. 7AM Appointment on Tuesday for unload.

Now I'm just sitting here fighting with Support to try and get an empty. Customer has none available.

Also, I picked up one of those Lunch Box stoves last night from the Flying J in Birmingham. This thing works pretty well and has now significantly expanded my menu for in cab dining.
