If you have low aspirations and minimal financial commitments then they MIGHT be a choice. All you do is run back and forth to PA and there's not enough miles in a week to make a decent check.

they really like ### kissers and stool pigeons which i am not -
do not forget cd m krenevich good looking truks but the owner hides from you do not pay you out for 6 to 9 months when you quite. they give you every excuss in the book not to pay. they like to starve you after the first month you are there. they want you to sign a 18 page contract so you can't talk about them also, glad that we nevered sign that. their favorite saying is " i got i got" be carefull and do not work for them.
-
Care to elaborate more? I have a road-test with them this week and everything I have seen shows them to be a great company to drive with.
-
It's pretty simple, that vast majority of their freight is between the GTA and the Eastern Sea Board of the USA. You do two rounds a week and @ best you get 2,000 miles.
As I have stated before, running short miles is OK but the carrier needs to pay MORE per mile because the driver isn't getting enough miles in a day/week. -
Okay, so I fail to see what's wrong here then? You run 2000 miles a week, your out only 4-6 days a week. That seems like a pretty good average to me? What you lack in miles you make up for in home time. If you don't want the home time you can take another dispatch. Am I wrong?
-
No your not wrong BUT at today's rates and only 2000 miles a week your pay will run out before your home time.

Unfortunately as a new driver, one is limited to where he can work when first starting out, this is all dependant on where one lives but for the majority of us this is the case. Gotta get your feet wet somewhere. As a new driver we are to expect crap for pay and crappy lanes. I know a lot of the "better" companies will start looking at driver after 1 year verifiable experience so if you don't enjoy it you can jump ship afterwards and work somewhere else. I know I would LOVE to run Canada only lanes, but as a new guy into the industry, that is almost impossible to find.
