"that's why they have company trucks"

Are lease to OWN trucks not still company trucks until you ACTUALLY own them .

Missed what you meant since you only quoted one line out of the whole thing...

Yes they are technically company trucks, but we get load offers just like owner operators do. So we don't have to run loads that we don't want. Last week one day I had four different choices which was great!

On a side note, I don't know of any company/company trucks that you can make $1400+ a week and be paying off a $100k truck and own it in 3-5 years.

Going to be in Liberty Monday for lease purchase. Was wondering what all we will be doing for three days at orientation.I have been an owner op. for 12 years now.Been own my own for most of that.Running my own authority.I know what it takes to stay in business but have decided
it was time for a change.Tired of the hassle of finding and keeping contracts.Going to lease on with act may as well have a new truck.I will be keeping my old 84 kw but only as a just in case.Been reading all your post and sounds like you all have got a good handle on your business.Thats good.Anyway never leased on with anyone but one time.It was a small company and the orientation was only a few hours. If anyone will tell me what all to expect I would be grateful.O and by the way,I dont need all the negative remarks or opinions I have seen on here from some others.I know what I am doing as I said, been in business for 12 years. Thanks and good luck with your lease.

    Different classes...

Maintenance class, business/tax, Qualcomm/elogs, meeting driver leader, going over lease, going to clinic for medical card, going over your truck... I know I'm forgetting some things.

Pretty much you end each day at 1600 and go back to hotel to enjoy your king size bed, bar and pool/jacuzzi. ;)
