Gonna be forced to take a 34 hour restart after I drop tomorrow night. Don't know the area well and can't seem to find anything within 50 miles. Syracuse east and Fultonville west.
Anyone know of anywhere close to there that is decent to take a 34 hour restart??
Places around Utica, NY to take a 34????

I was looking it on fueltruckstops too and there are ones on I-90, the tollroad rest areas. Can't remember what they are like. We loved the ones in Ohio because of the laundry and showers, food if you needed something.
Going west on 90 Schuyler, mm 227, Frankfort, NY
Going east on 90 Oneida, mm 244, Westmoreland, NY
The one mentioned by Numb above address is if you have a GPS to plug it into[h=2]40 Riverside Dr, Fultonville, NY[/h]
I use the fuelstop finder a lot for husband when going to oddball places, but make sure it is really a truckstop and not just a fuel island, esp like some of the Wilco's in NC, etc.. Better to call and make sure if not sure. -
Now that's an exciting town to be stuck in

I used to stay there for almost week every year for the Unadilla Motocross race. (I used to drive a motocross racing transporter). Not much around there. Nice countryside though.
Just remembered this place: http://www.vernondowns.com/ It's just west of Utica.
And local attractions: http://www.vernondowns.com/hotel/hotel_local-attractions.php -
Ya could've cought the Aderondak train up to Thendara NY in the fall it's great (cheap too)They do fall folage and train robbery's. Old Forge is a great tourist trap to spend a day at. And it's only about 1 mile N. of Thendara train station.58Skylane Thanks this.

Any idea where the next load is?
East you have a Pilot in Schnedtady, NY
West there is a Petro in Waterloo, NY
The rest areas are a pretty boring place for a 34 ... -
There's a pilot in Syracuse
