I just got a new fridge for my truck from truckfridge.com and I wanted to give them a thumbs up. It was $499, included a free OEM plug adaptor, was shipped FAST and installed in minutes. I got the TF49 model which fit right in the hole. It cools quickly and on the highest cool setting was making my gatorade slushy, mmmm. Plus it has a nifty blue LED which is nice when I wake up thirsty and open the fridge, it doesn't blind me.

If you're looking for an OEM replacement, check out truckfridge.com.

if you say so..i got mine at wal-mart for 89.99.works great off a 1000watt inverter that was 89.99.as well as a george forman grill,a mr.coffee, and anything else you could possibly want in the truck.i just dont see the need for a company to rip us off for sh-t we need that we can buy at wallyworld for peanuts.

I understand. If you can make a $100 wallyworld one work, great. I wanted an OEM replacement; one that is 12v and fits in the hole. Truckfridge meets my needs and is about $150 less than the dealer, and truckstops. No inverter to muss with, low power consumption, makes ice! I'm happy!

The george foreman grill is a good idea. What do you normally cook on it, burgers? Can you do steak or pork chops? Dang it! Now I am hungry!

The one you got looks just like the one I got from walmart but I wish mines had a light. I use my phone flashlight to find something.

Is the walmart one 12v? I like that about the replacement I got... it is hardwired into the truck so it is subject to the low-voltage shut-down function. It runs all night when I am shut-down and hasn't caused the low voltage cutout yet, thankfully.

Mines isn't a 12v but it look almost exactly like the one on the site. Doesnt have a light in it either. When I got mines it was at night and I plugged it in and didn't know it had setting and whas turned all the way up and so within a couple of hours all my stuff froze. Then I finally read the instuctions and it told me where the setting were but I had to get a flashlight to see because it's so dark.
