Recruiting said only dedicated drivers get small prostars and solos get regular size trucks. What do USX drivers say?

Not true. I've seen plenty and know plenty of dedicated guys with freight liners and Pete's. Though having a tad smaller truck wouldn't be the worst thing for dedicated. You end up in alot of tight difficult back situations where it would be useful to be a little smaller lol

You can refuse a truck if you want.

I've seen OTR drivers in Prostars. I even ran into a guy at Austell that said he was a team driver in a Prostar.

I may be mistaken but the team probably has a full size truck. I'm talking about those little ones. Look like jb hunt prostars but their usx. I'm not doing otr for 3 & 4 weeks at a time in that.

5speed, you technically can't refuse a truck, HOWEVER... if you're nice and tactful and sweet talk the equipment coordinators they can usually work with something for you. Though you may have to wait to get a different truck. Unfortunately the company decided to buy prostars for the 2013 fleet, although I do see Petes and a few FL's too. OTR solo drivers are pretty much gauranteed either a prostar or a 579 midroof pete though. Like I said BE NICE and you may get your way.

I saw one of those midroofs with million mile club on it in shippensburg a few months ago. If that had been me I would have told them to drive that truck up thier A.
