I'm having a problem with my connex. For some reason I've been showing 9 watts on a dead key with no swing on modulation. Does anybody have any idea what the issue may be. I've never worked on a radio before but I think I could handle a minor repair

as much as that radio costs new, i dont think i would attempt a magic screwdriver repair at all. take it to a professional so you dont accidentally end up with a 300 dollar paperweight.

I've checked all that, ive tried changing mics. And keep getting the same results. But it doesn't seam to do it all the time. I can mess with it for 5 min or so and it wount do it. The come back and it does. So I'm just lost.
