Pump Off Fee

    I assumed that he was in a position at a company that has been billed a pump fee by a carrier. I was just getting at the fact that if they receive loads of the same product frequently, it may be cheaper to install a pump and designate an operator than continuing to pay the fee.

    I hauled jet fuel, we had a few airports that had to have a truck pump. Most have their own pump because it has to be didicated to jet. Gravity won't work cause more than likely it's an above ground tank. My truck pump was dedicated to jet, we also had a truck dedicated to av gas. My company charged $50 for truck pump off just because it more work both for the driver and the equipment, hope I was some help
