I'll be going to Indy Sept 4th as an experienced driver. Any insight on what instructors to avoid and ones to pal up with? The good, bad and ugly so to speak? And how much do they dislike float shifting, because that's all I have done in my Cascadia for the last 4 months lol. I hear they pretty much frown upon it.
Thanks!

They know people float, but the schneider way and in training they expect double clutching. You will have 3 days of about an hour of driving to get your double clutching good enough to be sent out with a TE, where you will also be expected to double clutch.

Ok, I should be alright then lol.

Hopefully you will get teamed up with George Smith. He is excellent and very funny. He filled in my first week of training as a newbie due to someone being on vacation. Make sure you double clutch and you will do fine.

Can anyone tell me what the hours are during orientation, if and when I start it will be in Green Bay.

Our classes were starting at 7 AM, lunch is an hour long about 11 or 12 and usually out of there by 5, sometimes earlier
