It is more advanced than the International or Kenworth.
It is much like the American convectional when it comes sophistication.
They are very popular here because they are simple and offer an acceptable level of comfort.
    Electrics are their main problem.

It may not have the euro style of cab suspension, but its the closest thing we can imagine on the roads of North America. And it does meet the euro 129 crash test, or whatever it is?
I found most of the argosy info from here
    http://www.freightliner.com.au/Trucks/Argosy/Features-Benefits
I for one, would be excited to see this on our roads again.
If it does well, that could open the door to more COE or make a world wide platform more feasible?

king Q and Scania man Thank this.

really I sugest Argosy cant find many owners in EU. It runs rought, noisy, entrance is not so good as on EU cabovers. But I'd use argosy in EU becouse it is very simple, like S/T, and more reliable "electronic trucks".

Parts for freightliner are much cheapper too comparing with Volvo, MAN and Actros

Well they're nothing fancy and they're not the tilted windshield models but They're pretty kool. I'll try to find one on the internet or have my dad take a picture when he goes to the yard.

How often do you guys see cabovers? I see them just about everyday. Mostly hay haulers.

Over here its 99% cabovers, wouldn't mind seeing a few more conventionals just to mix it up a bit

I may see a cab over once a month, and it will be a broker who has restored or blinged it up nice.
Not very many left in this part of the country.
