Yeehaa. Just scored my first Petsmart load. Great, this sucker delivers at 3 am in Austin, then 8 am in Katy, and 10am in Pasadena this Sunday. Well, at least I'll be back at home for Sunday and prolly Monday too. The dang thing won't be ready till tomorrow afternoon late and I'm already here. Was dispatched on a drop at Tuesday Morning's warehouse for tomorrow afternoon but got there today at 1700. Dude said drop it so drop it I did. Went through the hurricane twice. Once in Baton Rouge, which was SCARY. That wind was howling.

I got to my final last night, parked behind a shopping center at the dock. As I am getting ready for a quiet nights sleep I hear loud band music. There is a high school to my right and band practice is getting started. For like three hours. I think I know their routine for tomorrow nights football game by heart.
Hoping to get home today as my family has plans tomorrow. I told my FM that I was willing to leave out Sunday afternoon or Monday if they have any longer loads that need Tuesday deliveries. We'll see what he can scrounge up.
My 32 hour sit in Memphis has cost me this week. It's Friday and I have just under 900 miles for the week. Will probably end up with 1300 or so...the least I have ever had with Averitt. However I have already been approved for detention pay for the sit. At least I don't have to fight for the extras here. My FM is good about getting it done for me. -
Got rare back to back daytime LTL shuttle loads this week. CLT to NAS Wednesday and NAS to TIF Thursday.
Had an exceptionally smooth week except for five hour unload at Dollar General in Jonesville SC. We drop&hook at DG in Alachua FL and even when it was live unload they were pretty quick. Not so with Jonesville. -
Only my seventh week back, but I was doing 2400-2600 up until recently. -
I talked to a guy who did it for nine months and said they got consistent 6000+ miles as team running to Oregon every week.Drifter42 Thanks this. -
