Okay guys, I got it. Every truck is a crap these days, but what to do. We live here and now. My truck is 15 years old with 1.5 million miles, noisy, vibrating, shaking, to keep on the road would not be enough to maintain any more, she should need a restoration. Still it would be an old truck with new parts. And the old parts are still keep breaking. I need a new truck and because the diesel price in the sky, I want, I need to grab every option save fuel. Aerodynamic is one of them. By the way, the price difference between a Freightliner Cascadia and the KW T680 with similar level of equipments, is about 5%. Try to sit into them, and you will see and feel the difference. I do not mean the Cascadia is a bad truck, the #2 on my short list. But from the driver seat, I like the 680 much better. And it is not a narrow version of the T700. It seems similar from outside, but very different truck. It suppose to replace the 660, if the customers will accept it.

Good news....You can buy a new rig that shakes and rattles off the lot......And it's just not Freight Shakers that do that....They all do that.....Even PACCAR which is supposed to be the best....Riiiiiiight......
Effing rigs cost as much as a house.....Yet they're all POS.....
Don't get me started on body paint.......sdaniel Thanks this. -
I don't care what brand of truck you buy anymore, their all plastic rattling peices of garbage. Only the new ones you are also lucky enough to get a peice of crap emission's nightmare that is always requiring attention from the shop. No thanks, I'll keep rebuilding mine.
Working Class Patriot Thanks this. -

The 2008 model year for any truck was garbage. You can get them cheap, there are so many problems because the technology was so new. I'd steer clear of any 2008 truck.

Here's some pictures. Keep in mind the color is the same, it's the lighting that changes the color. First is the truck itself up close:
Not bad, orange peel isn't that bad. Could use a polish, would reduce the orange peel. I've seen much better paint jobs from a factory. Next picture is the fairings under the cab, and the bumper seemed to be painted the same way:
Holy orange peel batman! Looks like a kid with a spraycan did it. Next up is behind the sleeper, right next to the rear fairings:
Runs like crazy on both sides.
I can't believe they put this truck in the show room. It's absolutey emberassing. I think they cleaned it up too. I noticed some peeling last time, they must have cleaned it up. -
Thats gotta be the ugliest.......wait no the second.........uhhhh. It might be a tie. Anywho keep the old truck keep up on maintenance and do a little upgrading to make it more efficient. The technology thats out right now is great for older trucks. Why do you think gliders are getting so popular.
