prime is the better company

I'll actually give an honest answer. I don't know which is better because I haven't worked for Prime. I have, however, been with Swift for over 5 years now. I wouldn't be here if I didn't like it.
long_run Thanks this. -
Thanks for the answer guys. I am curious as to why Prime would star me out in a l/w at .41 cpm and it would take close to 15 yrs. to get that at Stevens.

Speaking from experience, I wouldn't go to Prime. I had three trainers and they all sucked. The first was an alcoholic, out of the six days I was out with him he had beers 4 of those days. Second one got mad everyone I asked her a question. Hello I'm a trainee. She thread cigarette lighter and hit me interest face with it. Third one got mad because pulled over because it was storming and foggy right before a steep grade. I won't recommend Prime to anyone training. The three trainers I had were all about the money and didn't care if you learned everything or not. They all were over their heads on their leases.

One sided stories always make me wonder. I couldn't (and wouldn't) recommend Prime over Swift,... in my experience with NEITHER of them (other than observing the rigs and how the driver's handle them), I wouldn't put one over the other. I pass the Swift drivers more often though so I'm guessing they are governed just a tad bit slower than I am (65).
To say one is better than the other?... both seem to have clean rigs and equipment.
I drive food grade tankers now but I would suggest that you do NOT go with C.R. England (of course, my experience is not necessarily shared by others).
If you find my comments to be offensive, please get over it. All truck drivers have an attitude and I'm one of them. -
Primes trucks are slower than Swifts trucks. The only time Prime gets fast than 65 is when you are going down a steep grade. I think Swift is governed at 72. Some of primes trucks go slower than 65.

As far as hometime,
I believe Swift would be a better choice. -
Woaw.
Swift is 62! -
Did they just change this?
