Follow me through Central refrigeration training 2.

Well today we did are backing test. Passed on the first try. Everyone in my class passed, only two people had to retest. Those two people are the know it alls. One of them already has his CDL and the other is great at critiquing others, but can't take the critiquing. Of course he had excuses for why he failed. When you passed your backing test you went and did an alley dock backing test. This test is not for your CDL, but is required by Central. They show you how to do it. Very easy everyone will pass it. Later we got to head out on the road again. One last chance to fine tune your shifting, turning and general driving skills. Tomorrow is the drive test.

 

Drive test was done today. Everyone in my class passed. Some cut it close and others did average and a few did excellent. We all get to go and get our CDL's on Tuesday. Monday is a holiday so we cant get them. Tomorrow we get to do what they call an extreme course. Not sure what it is, but I will inform you tomorrow.

 

@ cuz. No more tests. We have passed all of our tests required for getting our CDL's. Tomorrow is just some extra training.

 

Today was extreme course or tight quarters driving/backing. The course was designed to simulate a truck stop or load docks. Its a drive slow course and can be done without hitting cones. Did it several times. The next 2 days we are off because of the holiday. Normally off on Sunday but monday is labor day. So we get an extra day. Tuesday we will go to DMV and get our CDL's then start orientation. Orientation is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Update you Tuesday evening.
