Just doing some research myself. Skyview has a Facebook page and looking at some of the pictures, they've got some fancy rigs. Must be getting paid the big bucks!

Here's one of their reefer rigs (photo from Skyview Farms Facebook Page):

They are 100% O/O so they don't own the rigs

And from what I've seen, for some reason the shiniest truck usually has the most miles

    I don't know why lol

It is morally wrong to put yourself and your family at financial risk without doing due diligence first. If you cannot see the financial statements (settlement sheets) that go back 6 months, from at least three leasers (that you choose) at this company first, then you sir are a fool. (A fool and his money...). If a company could really guarantee the type of revenue that you are being told, then why not make your lease payment a percentage of your revenue? Follow your dream, but do the preparation work first. I have made huge mistakes myself in the past, and forums like this were not available. If you choose to ignore the wisdom that is available here, you will fail. I hope I was not unclear. (Tough love, baby).

Thank you for this great info and I have found several of their drivers who are driving for them now! So far I like what I am seeing and hearing, seems theres only two bad apples in this group. Seems the other drivers are happy and making a pretty good living!

Ladies and gentlemen a bit of advice from one who has been around a long time. NEVER get your truck from the sane place you get your loads. It is just that simple. As a matter of fact, if you are going to be in the trucking business ,don't be the one driving,be the one supplying the loads. Do not ever buy trucks ,instead buy trailers ,and take 20% off the top from the folks who pull them for you. These lease purchase people have figured out one can make more money selling a truck over and over again than it will make running down the highway.

1st off.$3500 every 3 monthes would be $14,000 not 12,000.2ndly if it took you 3 monthes to make $38,000,Alan was right your NOT going to make it!!! 3rdly it is VERY rare that i don't make OVER $6000 a week.if you will think about it you were told right up front "if you're not afraid to work you will do well here if you are you should go home now".i personally have never met a better group of people than the rickertsons.

the trlr. rent is 325 per week.not 600.you don't have to give 500 up front to get a fuel card.you should pay more attention to what people tell you.i've been with skyview for 3 1/2 yrs. and do very well.
