yeah they run thru upstate ny a lot. dont even worry with conley being the closest terminal it aint like you gotta park your truck there and find a way home. you'll be able to take the truck home. and if you wanna be home every 2 to 3 weeks dont expect to be making a lot of money . you'll need to be on the road a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks at a time.

Well I'm here just laying in my room right now whoever said jail cell hit the nail on the head at least I got lucky and got my own room

Nobody can give a real figure on your pay. It depends on you, your DM, and luck (good or bad some days). My lowest has been 300 but my highest was almost eight. Just the first month so I still don't know what's normal. Just run what you get, plan on being as early as possible and know where you're going before you get there! Good luck. I've heard of people making close to a grand in a week and also as low as -80... There are expenses involved that are still there even if you aren't working.

Welcome to Central Black I hope you are enjoying the jail cells. Don't worry you will only be there for a week.
Pete you know your going to make 28cpm it is also safe to say you will run 2000-2500/wk so your grose will be between $500-650 unless you run a lot of miles. Expect low checks your first 1-2 months until your dm gets to know you. -
As a rookie plan on 1800-2200 mile weeks, after you got your legs underneath you start thinking 2500-2800. When your record show reliability and you work well with your DM you'll get the 3000+. When I make it back to the terminal I'm going to sit down with my DM and start discussing how we can have 3500+ weeks, got to have goals.
All the best on your adventure. -
Well I failed the work well test I knocked the ladder over trying to do the 24" step waiting in the recruiting office now for a ticket home

Sorry to hear that Black. Man that sucks! I think you can try again in 6mo. If you do not want to wait I think Schinder does not have a work well, as long as you pass the DOT physical your good.
Good luck in what ever you do. -
That's too bad Black. I hear some people have luck hauling for trash or dump truck companies. the main thing is keep at it and get your first year driving out of the way any way you can. Good luck to ya.
