Newbie from WI

I'm planning on starting school in a few weeks and a friend recommended this forum. I've really enjoyed reading it the past few days so finally figured I better join.

Changing careers at 50 does make things interesting but mostly concerned with the effect on my 15 and 11 year old as they are used to me being home every night. Not sure my wife won't be happy to have me gone.

First day at school today and passed my physical although I wished I would have planned my contribution to the drug screen a little better.

 

First week down, 4 to go.

Knocked out the GK, Air Brakes, Combination, Tanker, Tandems and HazMat tests today. My brain is tired.

Looking forward to getting in the truck on Tuesday.

 

2 weeks down, 3 to go. I've got a job lined up and a pre-hire in reserve.

Today was my second day of doing 45's. My instructor said I did pretty good for only my second day but there were many moments it sure didn't feel that way.
