134 points??? Wow. Clean MVR & DAC is good. You're going to have to be up front & honest about that inspection. Because its equipment, you might be ok. Keep your nose clean for the next 3 years though.

Each carrier sets their own limitations as to hiring requirements, including CSA points. Getting that many points on one inspection will raise some eyebrows. If you have a copy of the inspection report you could show it to any potential employer and hope for the best. Most carriers are not going to see that many points as being the fault of the carrier. They will see it as your responsibility to make sure that they equipment you pull or drive is safe. No carrier wants to take a chance on drivers whom they feel may cause them to get points on their CSA. Points mean higher insurance premiums and fewer shippers and/or brokers who will load your truck. Points can also impact the rate you are offered. The best thing is to get on the phone and start making calls to potential carriers. Some could turn you down flat, others may give you an opportunity.

You really don't want to work for any company desperate enough to hire a driver with that many points .

There's something that us professional drivers do. Everyday. It's called a PRETRIP
INSPECTION. That means actually doing a Pretrip. There's a lot you can catch during this inspection a lot of companies depend on you to catch things that are wrong because the trailers may not hit a yard for months. It's all part of the job. And thanks for the roses on the signature!
