Finally got some free time to get some work done on the cabover so i took it for a drive around the building. When in high gears it takes a little longer to split than rtlo models is this normal?
RTOs are new to me i tired to take the splitter cylinder off but i believe that the auxiliary needs to be apart since there is no nut like on the rtlo models, the shaft is held in place in by a bolt with a lock wire and the o rings are inside another 4 bolt housing. If it requires taking the auxiliary apart i'm just gonna run it til it quits and hopefully put a rtlo after christmas

I wouldn't consider it normal, but it's performance is likely to improve with some regular use. A little O-ring lube might help the cause. You might also check the line connections for restriction, they commonly get cinched down a little too tight and delay the shift.

    Don2WS Thanks this.

Sounds more like low line pressure to the splitter valve. When my orings were leaking it would push it out of OD a couple of times after going into OD, alost like the clutch was slipping.
