left orientation

    i was in orientation for 3 days had keys to truck and a load, i checked my messages and the drug test guy wanted me to call him. i assume he was gonna tell me i failed. i left orientation and never called the clinic. my thinking was, if he couldnt tell me i failed then he couldnt tell the company. so im wondering if i did fail can the clinic tell the company? and can they put it on my dac report?

    If you're out there somewhere you should first return his call and then, depending on what he says, start heading home. Why would you think you failed?

    It is incumbent on the drug testing facility to notify the carrier of drug test results, pass or fail. After all the carrier did pay for the test. Sounds like you were "hired" and if you had a drug fail, that will be an option for the carrier to report OR a quit under dispatch. I can't see them putting both on a DAC report, though. Seems like it would be one or the other because if you failed the drug, you would have been recalled and fired anyway.

    I hope it was a failed as opposed to an anomaly or protocol error, and they only wanted a retest

    ok i did what i did cant re do it, had a flight delayed all that. im just asking if the man couldnt tell me i failed can he still tell the company?
