Where do "they" all come from? It's true I'm turning into one of those ol' Rednecks I used to despise but you know what- That's A-O.K. after reading threads such as these.

 

Why do u guys try to get hired and you know you've done some drugs or whatever and expect to get employed? Maybe you didn't fail maybe they needed a redo. You should have maned up instead of running. Dam, Wasted company time and money.

 

Will be on your dac for sure,and hard to get another job.

 

Yes, that's why companies have so much paperwork. There are sections that release that info to them.

Probably just wanted to redo test since he called you back, otherwise, he'd probably just reported the results back to company the way it was...

Also, I'm sure he didn't need the smart ##### remarks some of you gave him....Doesn't look good on yourself.

The clinic was probably just calling you back to inform you that you left some info out on your forms.

If any body was going to tell you that you failed, it would be your company reps.

They'ed probably tell you something within the lines of, you need turn your keys in, and have a good doctors note wen you come back.

I dont think they'ed hand you the keys before knowing. I'd hope.

Guys look this is serious bussinus when going in for a drug test. If you think theres a chance you may come up dirty you shouldnt even be there.

They are actually three differant test-

1. One's the DOT and if you fail that one you will lose your CDL for a year.

The other two are just a regular drug test.

2. The second is the hair specimen test witch goes back the farthest. It can go back in to your history for years depending on the sample.
The longer the hair the farther it'll go back. They would usually go back about five months on a regular hair test.

3. The last is the regular non DOT piss test, the piss test will only go back around thirty days- three months into your history.

One thing that must be brought to attention. If you fail just a non DOT piss or hair test it may cost you your status with your employer, but will not cause you to lose your licence.

If you fail the hair or regular piss test, they may then ask you to take the DOT test just to jack you out of your licence.



Mr Bob if they tell you that you have failed and ask you to take a DOT test, don't do it, you'll screw your self royally. They'er no laws out that require you to comply with any request for a test, unless its by an officer of the law.

Then even then you can refuse to comply.
