i think it has a decent design not disharmonic at all and its still a volvo with many traits from old F series

The boxes behind the cab look good and the chrome bar above the sun-vizor with the revolving lights looks good, the flat black that hides allot of that monstrosity it's ok.........but still a fugly truck! LOL

 

fugliness is a good reason to make a facelift after couple of years.
this one has the potential of so many...

Volvo is GOT TO come up with something decent REALLY SOON after this crap they pooled this year, cause.........I don't know, but something tells me that the competition will profit allot!
GeWeez, all that MAN and MB have to do now is to improve some tech stuff under the cabs they already have and they will kick Volvo's arse back to the stone age!

 

Man and merc don't have the build quality, man is bad , merc used be bulletproof but later models were soft enough, I'm hoping the new one has improved, both are way better looking for sure, the merc looks fantastic!

 

Well, I could live with the front view, it's ok, you're right, allot of similarities with the old F series, not too bad, but the side view........oh my goodness gracious!, it's a disaster! It looks like some 9 year old kid made a sketch on a piece of paper in history class! LOL
