Looked like a nice clean and painful break, ouch.. Don't let somebody else drive your truck if you don't have to - cause you'll likely end up wanting to hobble them.

I kind of know what you are going through. Broke both of my ankles and tore all but 1 ligament in them about 5 years ago and ended up with a seven month vacation healing/learning to walk again. Thankfully I had disability insurance on my truck loan and AFLAC for the rest of the bills. Hopefully you heal quickly and won't take to much of a financial hit.

Mr. PlumCrazy, hope your recovery is a safe and speedy one. Had the exact same bones broken in my right leg too when i was 16,another good warning is to never go sleigh-riding on a steep, wooded hill in the dark:biggrin_25521:,(wrapped mine around a locust tree while riding a tractor's inner-tube:biggrin_25513:). They had me in a full-leg cast for a while because they were afraid i would develope a bad limp,my tibia had broken at a really steep angle and spintered. I do know how ya feel, take it slow at first. Wishing you the best!
