Have an Interview with Old Dominion next week.

    I have been online here and recently decided SWIFT but OLD DOMINION called me yesterday and offered me another interview including drug testing and DOT physical. I told them I would be more than glad to attend. My question is: I have no CDL but they are suppose to get me in thier driver training program. Has anyone attended one or have any information on that program? Do you get paid while in CDL Training with them? How much is thier start out pay while OTR with trainer? I know I should had asked but I was so excited because they called. I've been trying to get in thier program since 2007. Thanks for your help. Any info will be great.

    Take it and dont worry about the fancy OTR equipment. You will make more at Old Dominion with the chance to make double what most OTR guys make in a few years.

    What he said. Opportunity will not knock twice. I started fresh out of school with R&L in 2008,so yeah, it can be done! Jump through whatever hoops you have to. It'll definitely pay off in no time my man, trust me. ;-)

    I have decided to take the chance and go to OLD DOMINION. I will be keeping you guys posted on the outcome of thier 1 on 1 driver and trainee program. I'm very excited but 1 month away from my initial start training day with them.

    Had an interview with odfl for an p&d driver, got called back for the position, start on Monday doing roadtest and all that good stuff, does anyone know what this process is like so I will know what to expect, any info will be appreciated
