Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Yea but you get to drive a "classic" truck !
Humm..... "Classic" is that another term for a truck way past it's years that you have to nurse every where you go? I've had some "Classic" cars and trucks in my life ! -
Ummmmmm my husbands FLD is in that era, and he hasn't had it in the shop for the last three years, but check the status of the first gen "clean" trucks and tell me how many days those were in the shop?DrtyDiesel, Taildragon, The Challenger and 2 others Thank this.

I talked to Ryan today and he said the average is 45cpm in regards to pay.
KHtrucker43 Thanks this. -
He has newer trucks. The newest truck in the fleet will be a 13' 389. All the trucks are maintained and pass DOT inspection.

I don't understand why a post is deleted based on the fact that I, and probably a lot of other guys on here feel 20% is an insult and only more insulting to be given a 2% raise after 2 years. If the forum is not open for ridicule then so be it, but insight on how drivers "should" be paid shouldn't be considered ridicule.
trucker43 Thanks this. -
This forum is just like classified ads in the newspaper or on Craigslist. It's not for flaming or putting down because their ads don't suit ones needs. We don't have the time to separate bad blood from vindictive posters from trolls in here. We specifically have a forum just for that... http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/report-a-bad-trucking-company-here/ . This one ads, the other one to report bad companies. It's no different from no politics in open forums yet we have a forum specifically for politics. It's part of forum management to suit each ones needs.
If we allowed these advertiser to be ridiculed they would stop posting in here and we might as well shut it down.
Put the shoe on the other foot. If you posted an employment ad would you want a bunch of negative posters and trolls responding? Or any kind of ad as far as that goes.trucker43 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the explanation, and I completely see your point of view. Hopefully I atleast worded things in a constructive way, and not too negatively.
trucker43 and CondoCruiser Thank this.
