I am also starting on the 17th at Ellenwood. I signed up for Nat. Fleet. But may go 14/7. Not sure if I can get enough miles on 14/7?

    Looking forward to getting started.

Depends on the fleet manager and the truck(reliability)

they usually run the 14/7 and 7/7 guys as hard as possible so that yall can make as much money as possible in that two weeks

I am planning on going to school starting October 8th in Near Portland Oregon. They help with job placement but I am going to apply to many schools.... Roehl seems to have the best reviews (compared to swift, knight, cr, ect.) So I am interested in becoming a regional driver up here in the pacific northwest. Should I try to go straight for Roehl or do a year OTR with some of the beginner companies for experience before I start trying to pick which company I want to work for?

Roehl has great opportunities but I don't believe they will let you start out as a regional driver they want you to be a safe and experienced driver

In my opinion, If Roehl will let you in, seek no other........ I've done alot of homework for the last 2 months on carrier, and Roehl is the best company for" The new driver" But please do your OWN homework and make sure Roehl is the company that fits "your" needs.

This is very good, a lot of people don't realize every company is not built for everyone.

Pirate and dirty.....Do u guys run Nat. Fleet or home time plus?

Being from FL do you tend to get a lot/any freight in southeast or do they run you everywhere. Also any trouble or delays getting loads heading for home time? Thanks.

I run national flatbed. I stay out 20-25 days and take off 4-5 days.

I go all over the place. Mainly up and down i65 and i55. I haul a lot of lumber from GP and a lot of coils from chicago.

When I come out of the house I tell my FM when I wanna go home next, for instance I leave Wednesday, I'm going to tell my FM I wanna get home October 10th for my birthday. I'll most likely get home between the 9th-11th.

In van I always got home the day I wanted to be or a day early. With the small amount of freight going to Florida in flatbed its hard to get home on the day I request. That is why I stay out 20+ days that way I have enough of a buffer invade I have a doctors appt. To go to or something like that.
