This is good advice, Agree you should be honest about backing, but?, When you do get hired on somewhere?, Practice, practice, practice, If you want to try and get better before that?, see if the school you went to will let you practice
-
Good luck to you! A school and a trainer that didn't teach you to back?!? Unbelievable!!
Almost all we do at my school every morning is back up. -
They certainly should but if they didn't care to teach it in the first place it is doubtful they are going to care now that you are out the door.
To the OP, how did you pass the yard skills portion of your driving test? -
Can you go to a local school and pay for backing instruction/practice? You need to build the necessary skills so it doesn't happen over again.

I did consider that, the only problem is the school I went had more students at the time I was there than he should have, and even has some that were left over from the class before. There were seven in our class, and two left over from the class before. Besides the the whole time I was there I was asking about him showing us how to do a 45 and the only thing we did was parell to pass the the dmv test, North Texas Inst. Stay away!!!

I plan to call ATDS and ask
-
Don't. Backing is a skill, and skills take time to develop; some people take longer than others to learn it. No one was born knowing how to back up. You just have to keep working until it comes to you, which is how everyone else learned it. BOL.

Thanks for your reply

perhaps the school you went to has a refresher course. The one I attended offers free refresher training to all former students of that school. If yours does then perhaps you could tell them what you need instead of going out to drive straight line with the other.
