Ran out of Rest Area

What happened to you was wrong. I would have like all real truck drivers, come to your aid. I would have stood behind you as this man tried to do his worst. I would have been there watching the shouting match and hoping to get a good video off my cell phone so I could post it on U Tube. Had the violence increased, I would have testified in court and given the speech at the funeral. Actually, I would have stayed in my sleeper.

I am glad everything turned out safely. We all have bad days and sometimes make ##### of ourselves. Don't hate us all because of one thing. You never know what drove him to curse at you. He could have just gotten really bad news and needed to vent.

 

he probably tired and was looking forward to resting and felt a bit of jubilation when he saw "what he thought was" an empty spot. this quickly turned to anger and frustration when he saw a non-big truck in the spot.

i feel the same way when i see bobtails in full trailer sized spots

gee, I only get mad when an actual 4 wheeler (no trailer) parks in our area.... Motorhome: np, car/truck with trailer: np, small 4 wheeler eating up two parking slots in the trailer area: yeah I get ticked.....

 

Yea, I agree what a moron, If it happens again just tell em to call HP and settle dispute. He'll walk away cursing. These bad apples need to be tazered!

 

The guy is a jerk. But it is still a pickup with a trailer. Not the same.

 

I would have called 911 and let them handle it. He was a jerk, actually a 'Richard Noggin'!

One question, were you sleeping or just on a short 'break'?? Legally, since it is a pick-up truck without a sleeper, you can not take a 10 hour break in your vehicle.
