Gray will hire anyone. Their equipment may pass inspection, but it is pretty rough. A lot of companies came into Tyson (Waterloo) and undercut their prices. They did have the spotter service at the Tyson plant but couldn't get their drivers to show up on time and the turnover was so bad they lost it to Hirschbach. The Deere freight they haul is cheap. Trust me, the local company I work for hauls it too.

John Deere pays real well for their freight. Don't know what you're talking about.

Racks and tubs may just be a "go home" load.....but anything else pays good.

You should give OIX out of KC, MO a call. Guarantee you will be driving a 2012/2013 t660. Can go home weekly or stay out 14 days and go home for 4. .36 per mile, and if you go with the 14 out 4 home you will average 3000 miles a week. That tells you how hard you will be running them 14 days out.
You will also have to do a restart after six days out, and depending on where you live you can work it out so you do restart at home.

Don't know a lot about the regional side, except you get a full 48 hrs home every week, and they do some intermodal.

Good ins. Safety bonus every 3 months, good people in the office.

As far as gray go's I feel your pain, worst 3 weeks of my life. I had a truck that kept getting stuck in second gear, and to reset it you had to turn truck off, turn key off and on ten times. The problem was that you would have to do that four times or more a day, and in places like down town Chicago it was a major pain, and they never would get it fixed.

Also Darian is on here some times so make sure you don't say anything to let him know who you are, I know you haven't said anything to bad about them, but just saying. And really he is a nice enough guy, but the way there company is run leaves a lot to be desired. Any way good luck, and check out oix total 180 from gray.

i had one of their drivers sit on my bumper for a few miles before deciding to pass......then jumping off an exit a miles later, the whole time he's attached to the bumper he's weaving back and forth.....real smart.
