Hey everyone, im pitstop. I started out as a welder hated it. moved on to heavy equipment operator, but the bottom fell out of that market in my area. so here i am, going over the road. recent graduate of mtc trucking school out of st louis. loved the instructers, but the office personell are a friggin joke. (Imho) unfortunatly ill be startig with covenant monday morning. wanted to run a flat bed, still do, however i have a minor issue on my mvr. this meaning covenant was the only company that would take me on till april. anyways any advice, encouragments, or tips is greatly appreciated. id also like to know of any experiance with covenant? The ussual pay, trainers, ect. Well thanks in advance be safe and ill be seeing ya.

Welcome! Check out the Covenant section here for more info on what to expect: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/covenant/

Overall I've been happy with them, but everyone is different so I encourage you to read up on the various perspectives out there (keywords to search for: bigwheels, transporther, redcoat wife)

Well orientation is over. passed all my test, on the truck with a trainer he seems to be a real good guy. ended up witha second student in the truck. but so far all is going great moved our first load today, just a trailer move maybe 10 miles so i guess the race is on for my 35 segments. hopefully time will continue to fly by. with no or minor difficulties. yall be good now night night time.
