What night was that? Not that it matters now but I spent Monday night there enroute to Catoosa OK.

A lady from NAS called me Wednesday to offer me a 2013 Volvo. I told her I was flattered to be offered another new truck so soon, but I would prefer to keep what I have. She said that was fine and would move on to the next driver on the list. I'm sure I inadvertently made somebody happy.

On the way to OK with 45k I got 6.4. Coming back with 14k it was 7.4

On dedicated when my weight was pretty much always the same it stayed around 7-7.2

Cool...My truck is a little worse. Missing rubber off fairings on back of cab. Passenger side tank fairing is bent up from a poll, and I have a ramp box for my store deliveries. Just wondering if I was close to the same as everyone else. When I worked at USX, we got 8-8.5 in our Cascadias, but they were sticks, with no hood mirrors(blind spot camera), no APU's, no ramp box, truck wasn't wrecked, and had the best tires for fuel mileage. My truck I have now is heavy even when empty though. It weighs 35,700 with a full tank empty. Oh and I only weigh 230.

A while back I missed a turn in an industrial park thanks to some bad directions and backed up about a hundred feet or so and got too close to a tree on the passenger side. I didn't scratch up the cab but a limb hooked the rubber thing and popped it off.

Luckily I saw it laying on the street when I backed on up some but didn't realize what it was at first. I walked back and got it but couldnt fix it back until I got to a yard and used one of those tall step ladders they use to get on top of trailers with. That rubber thing has to start on top longways and slide down.

I'm just glad I was able to make it right and didn't tear up anything.

Yes, long sleeves are fine and as long as you are away from the terminal nobody is going to care anyway.

    gimmpy Thanks this.

Not sure what they have, but it's pretty heavy. Slide it out some, flip down the wheels, then roll it to back of trailer and hook it. Then take hand trucks in trailer and start unloading.

Averitt stinks... I've been laid over at least 1 day the last 3 out of 4 weeks ($50)... If you want to run 1800-2000 miles a week come on over...

I agree that's not good, but I guess that depends on what you're used to.
I've had jobs, and I know they are still out there, where they leave you somewhere you don't want to be from Friday until Monday.
