Maverick Driver general bs thread

Got my video for DAW...

Here's my version.

I wanna go home again! Been held out what seems like foreeever again, I just can't wait to goooo hooome again!

 

Question: What is Maverick's policy on edge protectors. More specifically, will they provide and/or pay for them. I had a load of shingles this week and really could have used some of those long plastic edge protectors to catch that on loose square, know what I mean?

 

This load was a real challenge. They first tried to load it in two stacks. Problem is the pipes are 27' long, trailer is 48'. But they had to try as these boys down here in MO aren't too good with math. So then they had to off load three pipes. After much debate one of the fellas came up with the idea of going 3 high, wow it was like showing fire to a caveman, as they all grunted at the idea. They were less impressed with my suggestion of centering the load on the trailer from side to side, like that really matters. So I get all my gut straps on and a few chains, then look at it and think I really hate this load. So I throw a few more chains at it. All in all only took 5 hours! Got my boots muddy to! Off to Cleveland in the morning.

 

Hate to say 'told you so' but........lol. I called that as soon as you posted that it was gonna be a Pilot.

 

I hear that, after 35 years of stopping there. Now it's nothing but a #### pilot the P stands for piss poor .
Well at least we still have the restaurant for a while.
