Been messing with cans? Had a import load today that had to be discharged and returned to the ship and Maverick was in the port with a can.

How long has he been doing this? I don't recall ever seeing him. Mind you i'm not in there every day but like Schneider and Knight, see them every time.

    Know anything?

Container, 20' box. His was on a 3 axle slider obviously overweight as it was bowed in the middle. I'm guessing he had tile or machine parts to torque that chassis that much. ( 48 to 50k in a 20' span )

Sure it was a Maverick and not a old maverick truck? We pull containers occassionally on flats but as far as I know we do not pull container chassis unless its something very recently we started.

Positive... I don't think Mav. would allow the sale and release of a branded truck. I want to say it was 16212 but i'm not sure. Only gave it a glance. Positive on the can and the 3 axle bowed in the middle. I remember thinking this type of chassis has been known to separate at the slide.

If I see another one i'll post it with more details.

These are the containers comming out of wichita falls. They are hauling glass. Maverick just started this a couple of months ago. They picked up the contract when Prime failed to deliver on it. (pun intended)

Ahh I see. Come to think of it I haven't seen a Prime flat lately. FYI a Prime driver told me these paid like $600 and something plus FSC.

Mav is going to need to step up his game though. Deputy Dawg is going to burn him up on the bridge law. You can't tote that kind of weight on a short span no matter how many axles you have.

I want to say Prime was pulling these on 48' spread skateboards. Might have been a tandem, didn't look that hard......

Yeah you're right it's a dedicated out of Wichita Falls. They haul on both chassis and flats. A friend of mine hauled one last week down to the rail yard.

    JimTheHut Thanks this.
