KOOLTRON !!! It rocks it's like having a real fridge in your truck you can get them mostly at TA or Petro but Pilot has been carrying them lately. It runs about 250 but VERY well worth it, also it comes with 2 plugs one for cigs plug and one for a regular plug it case you wanna take it into the hotel with you

Our truck was in the shop for 2 wks in NM and we left our fridge plugged in and it didn't drain the batteries that I'm aware of, We thought 250 was a lot too but we've had it for a year now and have not had a single issue with it and it's something we can use off the truck too. Also not sure where you keep your but the Kooltron is a little bit larger fridge I put our at the end of my bed and it's fine because I'm short and don't reach it

Got my truck Friday morning. Finished orientation Thursday. But when I got in the truck the A/C didnt work. So I was told to call road service. They told me to take it to Rush in ATL. Got to rush and they said it would be a week and a half before they got to it. So I was told to drive the weekend without air. Then I talked to truck assignment and they told me that they are sorry and they are going to highlight on the front of my page to route me to Joplin to get my truck fixed ASAP. So I sat at the pilot off I285 for 7hrs. Then i sent a message to dispatch asking if I did the ready board correctly and they sent back yes. The planner will be working on your load next... well I went to sleep. Set my alarm for 3a.m. when my 10hr break would be up and still no load. So I sent another message asking whats going on. And let them know that this wasnt a good first impression on a company. 1. giving me a truck that has been checked by the shop (as i was told) with 3 things wrong with it. A/C being the main problem. Other is suspension gauge doesnt work and something on the dash keeps popping up saying something about a front blower valve?? But 30 mins after I sent that message I get a ld picking up outside of ATL going to LaVergne TN.... That delivers MONDAY. So I asked could it deliver early cuz I will be there in 4hrs and I was told no. So.... I kept my cool because I understand its the weekend and I want to say all this bad luck is because I started on a Friday just as my FM was getting off for the weekend. So here I sit at the Flying J in resaca Ga because I was told I couldnt leave the truck at the Flying J without getting it authorized as a parking location by my FM and she wont be back until monday.

So my 1st impressions of CWT: Got a truck assigned to me with no A/C, sat for 15hrs before getting my 1st ld, then my first ld I get is 250 miles away and doesnt deliver for 2 days and Im 30 miles from the house and was told not to get my wife to come get me because I have to stay with the truck cuz weekend dispatchers cant authorize parking.

Come on CWT I have thought very highly of your company.. dont let me down! Im sure next week will be good once I get the A/C fixed and run some miles. The truck is a 2012 Prostar with 107k

Welcome to Conway Truckload! You are having the same problems that almost ALL the other drivers are having, REGARDLESS of seniority! Now that you have signed on with the company, keep talking to all the other drivers and see what their experiences have been. I have made several attempts to warn anybody of going to work for Conway Truckload. I DO know that there are paid bloggers actually working for the trucking companies (not just Conway, by the way) that are doing their best to report falsely positive information in all attempts to retain as many newcomers as possible since soo many drivers are leaving as a result of the poverty level wages and terrible working conditions. To all the paid bloggers that will reply to my post here asking for proof of their existance, I will also ask, " Can you prove to me that you dont exist"? That being said, let this be a warning to all future prospects. These large trucking companies are making RECORD profits at the drivers' expense. You will work long hours, (many times just sitting in the truck, waiting and waiting for another load) and you will be making, on average, $400.00 to MAYBE $800.00 a week, if you are lucky. If anybody tells you otherwise, they are not being truthful with you. And dont let anyone convince you that you must stay at a company for awhile to do better. This is not the case and all the drivers are struggling regardless of time with the company. Go and talk to actual drivers at your local truck stop.. an easy thing to do. Target Conway Truckload and ask each driver how they are doing. By all means, dont listen to everything that you are reading on the posts in this forum (including my own writing), go and physically TALK to other drivers.

Gah fatslob they must have fired you. FYI i do my homework. I dont appreciate you thinking I dont. All companies have their ups and downs. And a little more FYI I have physically talked to 34 conway drivers and counting. I do my home work. I was just letting everyone know my first impressions. And honestly i highly doubt any of this (besides the A/C) would have happened if I would have came on a week day when my FM was actually there.

Its people like you who think a company is supposed to just give away all their money to their drivers who make this industry a #### hole and hass everyone complaining. I will tell you this. My situation is just pure bad timing. Im not mad and im looking forward to continuing with CWT. And so your telling me that 3 guys who showed me their check stubs made those up? Man good thing I know better and see right thru ur crap. Geeze dude go get laid. Or go in the C.R. England thread.
