Is driving boring? It can be I guess. But think of all the free entertainment you have around you!
* There are always other drivers to mess with (flash, tease,. etc)
*Truck stop drama ( watching and betting on if Swift can back up!)
*Dumb things other drivers do (dropping a trailer tandem in ditch for example)
*Talking on the radio (talking crap about whatever and starting a fight)
*The ever present motoring public and their antics!
*Dispatchers and fleet mgrs to have meaningful conversations with!
*DOT cops at the scales and how they brighten your day with their cheerful smiles!
*Shippers and or receivers (my personal favorite) and how fun and entertaining they can be!
The list goes on and on- so, with just these few things and countless others- how can you get bored?!?

All the good jokes aside and there are some dam good comedians on this tread! but if the awnser is NO! I find my self very active during the day your senses are hittended when driving in the cities, there is plenty to do and see. LIKE THEY SAID IF YOUR DOING YOUR JOB RIGHT! Key statement there. will admit going though the desert can get boring at times.
Now the real thing Think about all the stuff we see, you can ride through all 4 seasons in one trip, the sites thoses high dollars exects dont see from 10,000 feet eastand west coasts. the deserts out west I70 in CO and UT, the fall in New England. Not to mention all the people you meet. Come on all and all its a pretty cool job and plenty to see out there in the world if you open your eyes and put down the IPAD, and qualcom and cell phone and just look out the windshield! -
When I want to know the answer to a question. I always ask the smartest person in the room/truck. Just because other people see it happen....oh well.

lol the rest i cant repeat i couldnt believe it or stop laughing for awhile after that

Not boring at all. I am busy all the time. I pull permitted loads. Big, heavy, hazardous, if you can pick it up and put it on a trailer, I can haul it. So, I deal with weigh stations, pilot cars, other oversized drivers, dispatchers, shippers and receivers, police escorts all day. Theres always something going on.
I will have a newish (is that a word) driver call me, tell me about his load and where he's at and his route with his oversized and whether or not he did his homework before he started moving. If need be, I will call other drivers I know and we will have a big conference call, especially if the driver is pulling his first 14 wide (or wider) or first OD into Canada or the Territories.
Met many a good hands out there pulling big loads..we normally all stop at places where you can still eat with a fork and pick on a cute waitress. I dont know about how the rest of them are doing, but we have a good time. It can be stressful sometimes, but its what I want to do.
