Any other trucking couples?

ha ha ha...my husband was with me all the time too...even tho i have been trying to get rid of him for the last 20 yrs..(been together 21)...but i keep feeding him, so he keeps following me...

 

Lol. Thats why i follow my girl.

 

We've been married for 29 years now... Trucking for almost two... If anything it has brought us closer... However I could see how if there were already problems, it could drive a couple apart, if not off the road!! You know how hard it is to slam a zipper!!

 

no doubt about that...(slamming a zipper)....yeah we met the end of 91 married in march of 92...and we have been trucking together since we met...many times i said, "stop this truck, i am walking".,.....and DID..for a lil ways anyway. you def. have to be able to get along together to be in such a confined space 24/7...for as long as we have. i tell everyone, yeah we have been married 20 yrs, but its like 40 cuz we have been together 24/7, the avg couple is NOT together that many hrs a day. its amazing we still like each other...not to mention, still love each other and still IN love...we met by chance at the 49er (not called that anymore) in Sacramento CA..both of us were driving solo...i guess it was truly meant to be. "The Keeper of The Stars" by Tracy Bryd is "our song...

 

It is still the Sacramento 49er... We live about 10 miles away from there

 

with the last couple of days...need to remind myself of the post i made earlier.^^..*cant kill him gigs*...repeat after me..LOL...really glad WE ARE NOT in the truck together right now....

 

HA!!! Slamming the zipper! That's classic! I've had that done to me a few times!

Good luck to you JbKrash, you all are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime! Wish I were in your shoes. It was many years ago I convinced my wife to drive and we went down the same road you guys are about to. I'm jealous, and wish I could do it all over again... You guys are going to make some good money and good memories!
