I concur Nakmuay. I have been and love it. No hearing about other peoples issues all day long. No one ups on life stories. Peace.

Thanks for the welcome to Texas. I do like it down here. Still little hot but nothing compared to what has been dealt with overseas. Laredo is crazy and wow one train across a road near a truckstop and all hades breaks loose. I heard WWIII on the radio today. Sounded like chickens clucking so I laughed a little. But now the waiting game begins. Still no load. Been here since 2:30 and thinking my clock will restart. But I believe in the FISH method of dealing with things. F' it S*** Happens. But I have a question. If the division Manager talked to me when I first went to the OC about possibly switching to Dedicated once he sees my performance over a certain length of time and it has almost been 90 days. Is it ok, in peoples oppinion, to talk to him about switching. Already talked to DBL and the conversation went,"I only deal with VAN". Just getting others thoughts. If money is better on that side running out of Topeka on Bimbo Acct then might be worth it to be home more with guaranteed runs. Sorry rambling and just looking for thoughts.

Schneider is one company I've found that internal communications for job openings and transfers are not often discussed between DBL's and other Ops managers.
In other words. It's very common for a driver to be recruited for another internal position, without his/her DBL being in on the decision.Unstyled_Deere Thanks this. -
Another thing I do is use a small Wireless USB Keyboard. This is the one I use: http://www.amazon.com/FAVI-Entertai...1&sr=8-1&keywords=B003UE52ME&tag=859351160-20. Any USB Keyboard that is compatible with Windows will work. Wireless is obviously better because you don't have any wires then. I just use some Velcro and keep it stuck to the top of my CB on the dash. This way I never have to remove the Qualcomm from the mount. -
I feel the same way about the work flow class it's a lot of info thrown at us in a short amount of time. I grabbed a laminated cheat sheet from the OC to help not skip anything my first few weeks I think it will help. I would ask and see if they have one where you're at it might help till we get the hang of it.

I will check my exhaust real good, just in case. Thanks for all the tips. I was going to go with the bowl idea, but the chances of me knocking it over every night are just too great, lol. I did soak a towel, and hung it off my desk, right near the heater, so I'm hoping that does the trick. I did just successfully blow my nose without causing a medical hazmat scene cleanup, so so far so good, lol.

I'm at the Indy OC. A trainer in the passenger seat of a training truck had his trainee stop so he could get out and talk to me about using 3 points of contact when getting into my truck. *le sigh*
