I don't think you'd have the big stuff with United rentals too often. Probably more skylifts and skid steers etc. No paving equipment, I don't think.
The bad thing about rental stuff is, ya know those guys aren't gonna clean'em off before ya pick em up

Did you ever get the job with united? If so what do you or did you think of it?
-
I use to pull a 37ft Eager Beaver that had steel drop ramps off the rear.I hated that thing.Nothing ever went on it or came off of it easily because of the high deck height. My boss bought it so we could move our 102 inch street sweeper around.Problem was the trailer was 96 inches, and too high
Don't ask me anything before you buy stuff..........I'm just the driver.............what do I know?? -
anything united rents will be a beaver tail and pretty easy trailer to load on and off of. at least in cali the are. nothing to specialized
-
But, for many small machines like bobcats, man-lifts, small forklifts, even small excavators and dozers it's a great trailer. The ease of loading simply comes from not having to break a neck down to get the machine on. -
With construction in NY you can plan on not working for at least two months of the year. If you plan for it and save you can spend the winter in Florida or freeze your ### if at home.
