Im an HR guy, i would like to hear about your experience as an Owner Operator with Swift or anybody else.
I have experienced drivers who struggle to stay ahead of there bills and the person who has money in the bank, a positive Escrow balance & enjoys life. Both are driving about the same miles, have about the same expenses etc.
Several do GREAT, others not so great.
What was your experience? -
people want all the credit for thier success and none of the blame for thier failure
all the transam lessees that started with me only 2 are left
some needed different jobs some didnt belong in trucks at all
but no one wants to admit they cant trip plan and cant get the job done

A friend went to TransAm, after the company we worked for closed. He loved that company and was there about 2 years, until his wife pressured him to get a local job and be home every night. He says if he ever goes back OTR, it will be with TransAm. He doesn't like the local stuff, and I never did either.

As for thes HR office rats. HR should of gotten involved before they closed they're Wilmington terminal, do to insuficient opperations. Swift has closed all port operations out of Wilmington.Try to hear that.
I guess u can blame it all on the drivers. Ha?
Bunch of corprate brown nosers trying to defend they're companies . That's what they get paid for.
Until somthing happens to these other guys, they'll be quick to side with the companies that exploite them.

I worked for a service department at a dealership for awhile before starting driving and we had poor customer approval and high personal paychecks when we billed hours , virtually no repeat business and were mildly successful due to volume til one bright manager decided to tie our pay plans with customer approval - even with high billing happening , we hated it however we had to shape up or lose money which meant do things different , that worked for a while until all the employess were abusing eachother for different problems, then the manager came up with another good idea . We had to get customer approval same as before but now it was called Internal and External approval , External was paying customer's , Internal was fellow employees who relied on us to do our job. Things changed , stress went down , some people left and many decent improvements took their place , needless to say I have never seen that anywhere else and I frequently notice the lack of anything like it everywhere I have been.

Its that old saying about being able read the spray paint on the wall so to say.
I would of hated to talk to you if I were thinking about leasing ther couse your probably one out of the two brown nosers out of a hundred that didn't get burned on the deal.
Talk about taking credit. I'm sure your a good driver but you can't tell me there was somthing wrong with all those people.
