Cyanide Thanks this. -
does anyone else here like hearing what is going right, or good news, or positive comments? there's plenty to talk about, but like the news and media I guess it isn't as popular!

Keep it coming Truthin! It is always good to see POSITIVE reports, regardless of what others think. I personally would never driver there but, I know there are lots of happy drivers there who make good money and fit well there. It's just not my cup of tea but, that also applies to me with my chemical tank; one size does not fit all for preference of how we make and earn our livelihood out here. The bottom line is that it works for you the individual, and over the course of it being a long-term career that is one of the most important factors IMHO.
Keep things going and if we (or others) disagree so be it. We're mature and experienced enough to be able to w/o things having to be turned into a pizzing contest! And that is one thing with messages boards that has and always will be an issue; most people can't disagree w/o things getting nasty.
You be safe and have a good ride, wherever it may be. I'm presently torn between saying to heck with it and moving into a brand-new Pete w/64 miles on the ticker or, only using it for the next week while my Volvo gets an oil leak fixed at Cummins????? Decisions, decisions, especially since I've been told that I can stay in the Volvo for appx another 150k-200k miles but, will eventually have to move into a Pete regardless.... -
19 drivers out of how many?? atleast 1000 tells ya all you need to know. -
i guess its always possible to turn the positive into something negative if you try hard enough. -
and to add to that, I would ask how many people reading this have been at their current company for 27 years. or 25 years. or 19 years. or 18 years. or 17 years. Maybe some. but I imagine not too many. and that tells ya all you need to know. -
Not only how many years in a company in this industry but how about any other industry would you see that? Not many at all.

It's good to see a company treat their seniority drivers well
