    Check this company : driveforgreatwide.com
I have friends that were very successful there & some who were not. The ones who were not, bought used tractors with too many miles from used truck lots(not associated with dealerships) & the successful ones bought used tractors still with warranty from dealer lots.

This is exactly why we don't allow religion and politics in the open forums. Beliefs are strong and vary greatly in which the discussions always turn ugly. The purpose of the open forums is strictly trucking. You are welcome to talk your heart away in the religion and politics forum free of moderation Young Tater. Waste your time and my time posting in the trucking forums and it will be moved if possible. Since this thread has already been established you left me no choice but to delete the irrelevant posts.

6 months experience? Try learning how to be a truck driver before thinking about leasing with a trucking company. There's more to this job than just holding a steering wheel.

A wise man not only learns from his mistakes but from those around him! The op refused to listen to those with 10 times his experience. God bless him and best of luck!

I can't share all the etc's of why I made the decision to go with Henderson, but one cannot even lease there until at least 6 months of driving with them. I listened to others but prior to listening to them I already had approval to find a lease program where it fits my needs.

Since discussing things here, I have already chilled with an owner operator who basically sat down with me and gave me a list of things to have "prior" to buying my own truck or even attempting to lease, one of the things he mentioned was more time driving as a company driver, but that wasn't his focus, he went into details repeatedly about, organization of paperwork, keeping receipts, understanding that a simple breakdown can cost you close to 10,000 dollars if you are not careful, getting more mechanically inclined with the truck I plan to buy or lease, I would no longer be a driver but a business owner, money made to the truck never mistake it as personal profit but money to invest in your business for a maintenance fund, or prevention fixes prior to a breakdown etc. things that were real informative, and though I heard some of these things from other drivers, one of the things he hinted toward is doing these things I would be okay.

His information was appreciated and I moved on, and I listened to him, and he said something about the perks of being an owner operator for him wasn't a whole lot of cash but the perks of his gross. And that was okay for him, but not for me.

Since being here I have also seen another owner operator post information on here about how he doesn't except les than 700 net a day for his revenue and if he meant 700 x 5 that's 3,500 a week but if he meant 700 x 7 that's a whopping 4,900 a week net... and the same said he has now scored or is scoring runs where he goes less than 300 miles for freight worth 2200.....

I also forgot to mention the same guy I spoke to personally who gave me a list of things to do, he started showing me how much he was paying for fuel, and I instantly said inside of myself, that's where you are losing money sir. He was getting 5mpg etc. so within myself I understood some owner operators will give me insight to maximizing the most revenue by dealing with customers and etc's and looking for unique fright so to speak for finding my own niche so to speak and plugging in to it. While other owner operators have poured into me the other things needed to be a successful business owner from a perspective of maintaining my business outside of talk of take home revenue but focusing on keeping the business above water.

My point is that I listened to them, and even the naysayers who have posted on here, but I wish that the people who were not successful in their own lease or becoming an owner operator keeping their trucks etc. would have shared why they were not successful, was it the companies fault or was it somethig they did, versus simply say don't do it etc.

Thanks for your feedback..... (I didn't refuse to listen, I just refused to obey unsuccessful lease operators or o/o's)....
