No, maverick follows the ATA guidelines of eight years safe driving is one million miles. It does not go by actual miles driven, just years. Ergo sixteen years safe driving equals two million safe miles and so on. In reality I do keep track of all my hub miles and achieved my million miles in six years but it was not recognized by maverick until two years later. Unfortunately my company offers no more rewards or incentives for further safe driving so I am planning a wreck in the near future that will be big enough for a good story, but small enough to not get fired. Maybe they will offer new incentives before my execution.

I did work at jb hunt for two years and your data is inaccurate. I was in their 50k club twice, got a beautiful belt buckle and mug that I gave to my dispatcher, and cannot imagine being there for ten years. I made the right choice coming to maverick and have never looked back. p.s. I have a nice bulova wristwatch, don't want a cheap Rolex.

If you have young kids don't do it. It takes a different kind of person to be otr. Luckily it works well for me in my current situation. Soon I plan on getting my own truck in the mav ic program. I wish I would have bought my own truck earlier, that would be my best advice, be your own boss.

Google "jb hunt million mile bonus." "Cheap" Rolex? :biggrin_2559:
I know what you mean about hitting the million-mile mark before 10 years. I got there in eight--I wanted to run hard and I did. My carrier honored my million on the very last day I was there, at 10 years. But I did it for myself, not for them. And I'm wondering if anyone's been at JB for four million miles.

Aren't there a pair of brothers there that have been there so long that one of them has a single-digit driver number (something like 9 and his brother is 11)...if they're still there they have close to 4 mil by now....

I don't know. But I found this ... the first two names. I think the web page is real old, so perhaps by now ... https://ww2.jbhunt.com/operations/mmdriver.nsf
My hat's off to anyone with four million safe miles under their belt. Or two or three or one million. :biggrin_25514:

Congrats on the million mile mark. I was gonna buy my own truck and lease on to the company I work at now. They told me my miles reset since I no longer work for them and will be owner op. I said when I get 1 million its 1 million its my satisfaction not yours but I'm a quarter of the way there

So? I would gladly run 70-75k if I could run three weeks per month and keep benefits.
