Hello, I am thinking of going with CRST and I wondered how you can find a co-driver? Is there any matching websites for teams?![]()

Mostly the company will put you two together. In school you will normally pick a buddy to drive with, but after you go with your trainer. He might still be in training and such and usually they will try to match you up with somebody else who needs a trainer. It can get scary having a new guy every time you come back out. You just have to hope he can drive.

Oh wow didn't notice that from your name it seems like you are a female. So that makes everything much harder because some of these guys can't be trusted, and the amount of female drivers that may be from your town may be non existent. I would try to find a place where you wouldn't have to depend on driving team. Unless you are tough enough to deal with the craziness.

Why do people choose CRST? I don't get it. They are bottom of the barrel. I wouldn't drive for them if the owner got on his knees and begged me. Pick a better company Ms. You'll be much better off!
skyviper73 and Joker85 Thank this. -
Most people pick them because they can't afford school, and CRST takes advantage of that. I went with them because they were the only one who allowed 21 year old's. I only lasted 4 months because of a fight with my co driver. Company does suck and hope she can find someone else to train her.

Wow guess things have changed since I was there. Looks like you have to find your own co driver. Good luck with that.

I got a call from CRST and from what the recruiter told me on the phone, is after you finish training with a trainer they will give you a list of names and phone numbers of drivers in your area of living that need a team mate and you simple start calling until you find that special one.

From the other thread that is on here. It doesn't look like that list works very well.http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...-crst-co-driver-connection-5.html#post2858894
