Bathrooms

the bathrooms dont look like home because even the pigs dont act like that at home
or even leave thier 4 wheeler at the fuel pump

 

it would just be nice if men would put there piss in the porcelain. PERIOD. instead all over UNDER the urinals besides the dang seat.

 

The one nice thing about running the same stretch of road over and over is you learn where the clean truck stops and rest areas are. There are a few out there that are well kept all the time.

 

A lot of times public restrooms are bad because people go in and trash them. I've had jobs where I've had to clean public restrooms. We used to say "Clean a restroom and within 10 mins the Mad ####### will visit it and leave you a lovely present of feces EVERYWHERE. And I mean EVERYWHERE."

 

I bring sanitary wipes with me to clean the seat.

Heck, you should probably use them on the door handles of the main store as well!!!

Couple of points already made: The only reason these bathrooms are trashed is because of the people using them, NOT the staff of the truck stop. Think about that next time you feel it's ok to spray your diarrhea all over the seat, floor, and wall behind the crapper. Don't blame the folks who have to clean them, blame the fat bloated disgusting pigs with zero home training and absolutely no class who trash them.

 

Then think of the port-a-potties at the rail yards and rejoice that you are using a restroom that is cleaned several times a day not once a week!

After driving for a bit you will have your own list of the "better" restrooms to use across the country. Most of the Texas and Florida rest stops have their own private "family" bathrooms which are usually nice and clean. "Little America's" are great too! You can always use the 5 gallon bucket and trash bag trick!
