I work it just like that............
Yup I got that memo.....
My DBL has been involved. Usually defending the "impossible dispatch" loads that are put on me. IE. The 750 mile dispatch that CS wanted done in 11 hours. Even though they had FULL knowledge of my ETA and available hours to begin with.
However, this doesn't stop the metrics from reflecting the "low" scores. EVEN when you arrive within the window allowed, your "scores" are affected by "changes" to your ETA. Whether these changes were your fault or someone else's. When you spend 5 hours looking for a trailer at multiple locations. The ETA that was originally set...is completely screwed.
I'm sending multiple free forms daily, to cover my ###. But it has gotten rather annoying.
However, the ability to modify at the pick up (without affecting scores) should greatly reduce the issue.....maybe.

Back in memphis again getting truck worked on what a piece of crap it is

all you have to do is lock the trailer breaks not the truck breaks and it will not shut off
-
Just turn on the cruise, and hit "resume". -
Pay issues.. Anybody else having pay issues? I recently got a new DBL, in our first week my last load before pay period doesn't show in pay detail or on my check . He says he is working on it now after I spoke to him about it 3 times. Now again! This week my last load of week drops off and doesn't appear in my pay schedule so doesn't look like I will get that one either. Uhmm what h**ll

Stay on him...

The entire driver scorecard is a mess. It does not matter what reason you change your eta for, three hours after the load is sent to you the times are locked in and that deteemins your eta accuracy. OOR calculations are screwwd up as are the miles pwr day. They show the billed miles, not paid miles. So if you deadhead 100 miles to pick up a 300 mile load you only get credit for 300 miles. Days worked counts only full days out, if you're schexulwd home on Fri but don't get home till Sunday, then leave out Tues that counts as 4the days home time.
To call it a nightmare is barely adequate.dancnoone Thanks this. -
It's a nightmare of their own creation. Some issues could be easily fixed, if they had anyone that could communicate effectively with IT.
Much of this is caused by the 10 channels of communication that everything has to go through, to accomplish the editing of one line of code. (actually it's more than one line, but what the hell)
IMHO, they have found a way to effectively TAKE the bonus away from a lot of drivers. Something that all companies strive for eventually.
2% OOR my ###48Packard Thanks this. -
I fixed my Scorecard issue. I stopped looking at it 2 months ago. I haven't the effing foggiest how crappy of a driver I am, and quite frankly, I couldn't care less. To worry any more about my job performance would be to lessen what quality of life I have left here as a company driver.
